Even though I teach you to find your own clients through the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program, I also send you projects when I have them!
Since I’ve been in the home staging field since 2002 and the Staging Diva name is so well known, we get continuous project leads from all over the world.
When a home seller or real estate agent contacts us with a project, they are sent first to the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers.
Not all graduates have chosen to be listed in the Directory, which makes them harder for clients to find when they click on the “find a home stager” link on stagingdiva.com. So where a client can’t find someone in the Directory, they fill out a form explaining their requirements. I turn these into “home stager wanted” postings on my blog, which is time consuming but I do it because I want to put Staging Diva Graduates together with prospective clients in their area when I can.
If you subscribe to my blog, you’ll get an email within 24 hours of any postings there, so you can keep an eye on any jobs that come up in your area. You can subscribe in the green box in the left column of my blog, Home Staging Business Report.
There are referral fees involved when I personally recommend you to a client, if you’re not a member of the Staging Diva Directory. These are one time fees and I only collect them if you get hired. Otherwise, I do all this promoting and match making for free, and you have the opportunity of dealing with a potential client at no cost to you.
Staging Diva Directory members pay no referral fees for projects I recommend them for, so being listed can quickly pay for itself.
