How to track you and your competition online

by Debra Gould, The Staging Diva on September 29, 2009

The Internet is critical to marketing your home staging business, it’s also a great source of information on other home stagers. With so many websites, it’s impossible to keep track manually. This tip will save you tons of time and give you the information you need on a regular basis.

You can set up an alert system through Google to notify you by email when the phrases you select appear on any website,  update or blog. You can even pick how often you want to be notified.

I recommend you set up a Google Alert for your name, your company name and any competitors you’re trying to keep track of. You also might want to set one up for a phrase like “home staging cityname”, “home stager cityname,” etc.

Set an alert for anything you want to know about, respond to or act on! If someone writes about you on the Internet, don’t you want to know about it right away?
