I love to write about Staging Diva students and graduates to highlight their success as home stagers and give them free
publicity.
In the past it’s been awkward getting the right information to write a newsworthy story. People would forget to send some of the details, or they weren’t sending the type of information that would make a good story, photos were missing, or their emails were getting lost.
We’ve implemented a new system to streamline the process and it’s a free benefit to you as a student or graduate of the Staging Diva Training Program.
It’s now much easier for you to know what to send and for me to find all the pieces I need to quickly write about you. The Staging Diva Team has come up with an online form that takes only a few moments to complete and it guides you through by asking you the right kinds of questions and giving you a spot to upload any photos that may go with your story.
You’ll find that there are three basic types of stories I’m looking for:
- The human interest story – how you got into staging, what you did before, whether you have to fit your business around another job or caring for kids, how becoming a home stager has changed your life
- The home staging business success story – how your staging business has grown, how many projects you’re doing, a recent project, any media attention you’ve received
- The proof staging works story – how you took a property and transformed it and the results the homeowner got from staging.
By the way, these stories I write don’t only end up in my newsletter and on my many blogs! Depending on what I receive from you, I can often turn the information into a full article that I send out to thousands of sites all over the Internet. This generates fantastic exposure for your business and costs you nothing!
