Staging Diva writes for HGTV’s FrontDoor.com

by Debra Gould, The Staging Diva on January 10, 2009

hgtvlogoI’m really pleased to have been hired by HGTV to write for their real estate website frontdoor.com.

My first story, “Debra Gould, The Staging Diva’s Top Staging Tips ” offers home sellers ideas for how to decorate their homes for sale. While some of the ideas will appeal to the do it yourself market, many will need the help of a professional home stager to really do it right.

My 5 home staging tips include:

1. Decorate for your home’s target market
2. Don’t try to sell an empty house
3. Strategically use art
4. Use brighter lighting to boost sales
5. Update your home’s jewelry

Naturally the story includes a link back to StagingDiva.com where visitors will hit the “Find a Home Stager” link and be taken directly to the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers.
