Staging Success Spotlight on Laura Kakoschke

Congratulations to Alberta Staging Diva Graduate Laura Kakoschke of Hunter Lake Home Staging and Design. I’ve written in the past about this amazing woman who not only home schools her three kids in the mornings, but she’s built a very successful home staging business in the afternoons. Over her first year in business she made more as a home stager than she used to in her full time job.

Laura wrote to share news about her latest unexpected client project:

“Since completing my training with the Staging Diva in the fall of 2007, I have watched my home staging business steadily grow to the point where I wonder how much more I can handle! In fact, I was seriously contemplating pulling my listing from the Staging Diva Directory and just focusing on networking to keep my business going.

But then, two weeks ago I got a call from a municipal office here in Edmonton. They found my listing on the Staging Diva Directory and wanted me to redesign a board room into a lounge/conversation area with appropriate upscale art and furnishings. What an incredible opportunity to expand my experience and continue to grow as a designer! Needless to say, I am keeping my page up on the Staging Diva Directory and have signed up for the full year.”
