Turn your vehicle into a billboard for your home staging company

Adding well-designed and well-written company decals to your vehicle is a great way to promote your company wherever you go. Whether you’re out on a job or running errands, you are advertising your home staging business to hundreds if not thousands of people in your geographic area. Many companies offer decals that are magnetic or vinyl that can be removed, a great option for those times you want to remain incognito.

When you’re driving around with your logo on your car, remember that this is part of the image you are projecting about your company.

This means:

  • This is not the time for aggressive driving.
  • Make sure your car is clean! If it looks like a mess, no one will believe you’ll do a great job with their home.

Congratulations to Staging Diva Graduate Susan Rutter in Oklahoma on the great job she’s done with her trailer and jeep. Notice how prominently she’s displayed the benefit of home staging and made it easy for potential clients to find her because of her prominent logo, phone number and web address.

She promotes her URL www.stagedbysusan.com which actually goes right to her page on the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers. This saved Susan the time and expense of building her own site to launch her business. Many members have been on the directory for years realizing they really didn’t need their own site after all.

Here’s a great story Staging Diva Graduate Sue Kilmer of Suzy Home Stager (CA) shared with me after using the car decal strategy:

“A lady followed me around town the other day in her car until she found a spot she could get beside me and block me in. She rolled down her window, apologized and asked if I was all booked up! She said they were getting ready to sell their house and she is terrible at decorating it correctly. She took a business card and will call me soon. I’m not sure why she didn’t just write down the information from the ad on my truck, but it proves those decals work!”
