The busiest real estate season of the year is certainly in full swing. I’ve seen tons of sold signs recently, which is no surprise given the low interest rates and high numbers of first time buyers taking advantage of government programs.
As a home stager this is important to know and promote to your clients, since first-time buyers are especially responsive to home staging.
I’ve also noticed many more home staging project requests coming in, learn how you can take advantage of these in a couple of upcoming posts.
Thanks to everyone who has sent feedback to my new report, 14 Marketing Ideas to Rev up Your Home Staging Business. It’s been great to see so many home stagers get started with the ideas I shared in this $20 report and hear about the results many of you have been getting!
Wow, Mother’s Day is already just around the corner! That will mark the second anniversary of finding my dream home. It took me 8 properties to finally get to the one I wanted to live in, the others being “buy ugly, stage and sell” situations.
By the way that’s how I became a home stager in the first place, I finally realized in 2002 that I had a marketable skill that could help others sell their own homes. I’ve decorated hundreds of homes since and continue to be amazed at the magic of what we do! While the skills we use from house to house are the same, each project is different and that keeps it interesting and creatively challenging.
I welcome your opinions, success stories and/or new story ideas. If you’re wondering how to get me to write about your business, it’s really as simple as sending me content along with a photo or two of you. I love to promote Staging Diva Graduates wherever I can!
I hope you find this month’s blog posts helpful and wish you continued success for the spring real estate season!
