Wow! I don’t know about you, but I’m looking forward to some time off this holiday season! It’s been a bit of a whirlwind for me over the last few months as I’ve been busy with clients and developing new products to help both new and established home stagers.
You’ll be hearing more about these products in the months ahead as I apply the finishing touches. The “trouble” with being creative is you get so many ideas, and it’s tough to finish one before starting the next. I’ll be sharing one of my latest reports with you this month, including the details on how you can get it absolutely free!
I also wanted to let you know that I’ve added a new FREE benefit to all 5-course training packages.
Now when you order the full Staging Diva Training Program, you’ll get a 2-month trial membership in the Staging Diva Network OnLine Discussion Group. In the past you had to complete the training program before joining, but I realized that the Staging Diva Network would provide a great way for students to get support from each other and a safe place to ask questions as they work through the course materials.
I log in to the Staging Diva Network each week to contribute to the discussions, but you’ll learn from each other as well. The Staging Diva Network has been running for several years, so you’ll also enjoy the archive of past discussions, all organized by topic. And it’s available to you 24/7, whenever the need for information or inspiration strikes!
If you’re already a Staging Diva Graduate and you want to take advantage of this 2-month free trial, just shoot us an email and we’ll get you set up!
I’m really excited about a TV opportunity that’s been presented to a number of members of the Staging Diva Directory of Home Stagers. The producer called me to participate in a home staging shoot, but the location and timing didn’t work for me. So I sent the producer to the Directory and she contacted a number of Staging Diva Graduates about participating. I’m looking forward to learning who they chose and how the shoot went!
Because I’ve been staging homes since 2002, I get lots of leads on both projects and media opportunities that I’m too busy to handle personally. These all get referred to Graduate members of the Directory. Find out how you can join the Directory too so these projects will come your way in 2011.
One of my goals for December is to set aside time to write in my journal about what I’m thankful for from 2010 and what I’d like to do differently in the new year. It’s become clear to me that unless we carefully articulate how we want our lives to look and then take steps to make it happen, we continue to live with the “same old, same old” year after year. This isn’t a dress rehearsal, and the speed at which our lives seems to slip by just gets quicker and quicker.
Journal writing with an actual notebook and pen may seem old-fashioned to some, but I’ve always found I can get closer to my inner voice and intuition by writing longhand than I can sitting at a computer. How about you?
Please keep your opinions and story ideas coming! My goal with this blog is to share inspiring ideas and tips that will help you in your staging business— whether you’re totally new at this or you’ve been a home stager for a while.
I hope you enjoy this month’s posts and I wish you all the best for the holidays and the new year!
