I’d would like to start this month’s post with a special congratulations to all the new Staging Diva Graduates in the US, Canada, Australia and the UK. I’m enjoying connecting with you and answering your questions inside our online discussion group, Staging Diva Network.
Staging Diva hit a milestone this week with our 400th home staging job posting! I created the only job posting/referral service for home stagers in the world, and it’s exclusively for graduates of the Staging Diva Home Staging Business Training Program.
In this month’s articles you’ll learn how there are many paths to a home staging career. Who would have thought the US Air Force would be one of them?
You’ll see an excellent example of how the talents of a home stager have been used to transform an office area into a set for a TV talk show.
You’ll also discover 5 of my favourite neutrals for home staging, read the latest staging business dilemma, plus meet 7 inspiring home stagers.
Do you love spring as much as I do? My garden is finally filling in after 5 years. It’s a teeny-tiny shady lot, so there is more of a mix of greens and textures, than flowers (sadly).
My favourite is the water feature— a large boulder that’s been drilled to have water come out the top. It takes me about 2 hours to clean out all the rotting leaves and winter debris to get it going each spring. I finally thought of using a fish tank cleaning net which makes my job easier, though a husband would probably come in even more handy.
Perhaps a new “project” when my teen heads off to college this fall?
I hope you enjoy this month’s Staging Diva Dispatch. Please send me your questions or story ideas so that I can cover them in future articles or in the Home Staging Business Report.
