
The reality that she’s really moved out is only hitting me now. Even though she’s been in college for 2 years, I thought we’d have our summers together.
Now I realize we won’t.
We are just back from a week in Paris together. I was last there in the 1980s before I started my first business. It was wonderful to hear her gasp when she first glimpsed the Eiffel Tower.Just as I did when I was only 9 years older than she is now.Paris was a feast for the senses and a chance for us to catch up.
Everything from pastries to handbags are displayed so beautifully. The architecture is exquisite, and art everywhere you look.
My trip has inspired me to get back to painting and surface pattern design.

It has surprised me how much my new creative outlets are also helping me with my staging and redesign business, as well as my writing for Home Staging Business Report.
