How to Write a Simple Marketing Plan

By Debra Gould, The Staging Diva >>

It’s been said that failing to plan is planning to fail. But it is possible to plan yourself crazy until you’re so carried away with planning that you start to experience “entrepreneurial paralysis” and never really get anything done! On the flipside of that coin, you can only fly by the seat of your pants for so long when it comes to growing your business.

I’ve seen too many stagers, once full of passion and excitement, end up fizzling out and closing their doors because they never really started marketing, or they began marketing and then stopped as soon as they had “enough” projects.

I don’t want you to make either of these mistakes if you’re serious about having a real staging business that meets your financial needs while letting you live the life of your dreams.

While it’s often tempting for so-called “marketing gurus” to give you a complicated formula for setting short-, medium- and long-term goals, I don’t believe in that.

I know from being a creative person and running various businesses over the years, that filling in too many blanks can make you feel like you have to have your whole future figured out before you start. Going through a process like that is at best a delusion, and at worst, completely self-defeating.

Simple Marketing Plan Companion The NEW Simple Marketing Plan Companion will remove the intimidation factor around creating a marketing plan, prompt you to change the ways you promote your business, and remind you to take continual action to keep your business (and your life) moving forward in the direction you really want it to go.

This guide is not a complete marketing course, but I do share important insights into developing a marketing mindset in your business, based on my Master’s Degree in Marketing and the 25-plus years I’ve spent as a marketer, first promoting big corporate clients and then later promoting myself and my own products and services.

I started my own home staging business in 2002, so I know first-hand what it takes to properly plan for marketing your staging services.

In this guide, I’ve broken down the whole process of writing a marketing plan into easy-to-follow steps that will keep you from feeling overwhelmed and help you focus on what’s really important to your life and business goals. After all, there’s no point in living a perfect version of someone else’s dream! It’s all about YOU, and this guide will remind you of this as you “position” your services and grow your business.

You’ll learn how to write your own marketing plan the easy way, so you can stop “planning” and start “doing.” Then watch the results as your staging business grows!

> You can pre-order the Simple Marketing Plan Companion until February 24th for $10 off. As soon as this new guide is officially available on Feb. 25, I’ll email you a copy automatically. On that date, the price will go up for anyone who hasn’t pre-ordered before the release date.
